Am currently a bit upset over "my couple" - John & Marlena - in Days of our Lives.The writers has never even heard of gender.. - sticking to their almighty biology. John (& every guy in that series) greets or presents (themselves) with their "beautiful wife" - I would fall flat if Marlena once pinched him while giggling & said: "No, don't listen him! Jooohn, you are my beautiful husband!" (Well, I can dream, can't I?)

Also, the current US storyline - with Marlena as the victim - always the victim. The one always in need for male protection. 

What can I say except for:
